If you enjoy the sun and the surf, have one (maybe two) afternoons free on a Saturday or Sunday over the summer, are reasonably fit, feel like helping the community, and want to meet some great people ... Then consider joining Surf Life Saving.

Becoming a member of the North Haven Surf Life Saving Club offers many benefits, including:

• Keeping fit, while having some great fun
• Meeting plenty of like-minded people
• Social activities for everyone from 8 to 88 and beyond
• Supporting your local community, making the beaches safer
• Our Nipper program for 7 to 13 year olds
• You'll receive training in rescues, resuscitation, and first aid - To name a few
• Most importantly: You May Save Someone's Life!

Membership is very affordable, with flexible options. The below options and prices are current for the 2007/08 season, and subject to change at each Annual General Meeting.

For a Full Active Member, the fee is $65 for the season. With this, you will receive training to gain your Bronze Medallion. With this award, you will be able to patrol the beach with a team of other lifesavers from the club, and you will have open to you a broad range of experiences and options.

For those who don't wish to patrol the beach, but still want to be a part of the social experience, then a Social Membership is made for you. For a small $20 fee, you will be entitled to rights at the Member's Bar of the new clubrooms, receive all the social information within the club, and have rights to 'Members Only' functions within the club.

If you don't wish to patrol the beach, but still wish to utilise the club gymnasium equipment, you'll need to be an Associate Member. Associate memberships are $150, and covers you under the club insurance policies whilst undertaking training and fitness programs.

For the younger ones, our Nipper program is great fun, and you'll learn beach safety, surf skills, and be able to compete in junior carnivals. Membership costs $50 for Nippers, aged from 7 to 13.

Family Memberships are available to families at a total cost of $120. The perfect option for mum and dad to join with the kids.
