North Haven, situated on the tip of the Lefevre Peninsular, is the most northern of metropolitan lifesaving clubs in South Australia. Celebrating 40 years in 2007/08, in line with 100 years of Surf Life Saving in Australia, the club is enjoying its recently finished renovations.

The renovations include an increased floor space in the hall, training room/members area, vastly improved kitchen facilities, two beer gardens, new toilets and showers, a refurbished entrance, new first aid, patrol and IRB rooms, new gymnasium area and equipment plus improved storage for our patrol vehicle, IRBs, surf boats and competition / training craft.

The new energy that our renovated clubrooms has brought to the club has resulted in exciting times and with the celebration of 40 years of Taperoo-North Haven SLSC, along with 100 years of lifesaving in Australia, 2007/08 is shaping up to be best season ever.

BREAKING NEWS!!

With the recent influx of members rowing surf boats, the hard work of the management committee and the inclusion of two new sponsors (Officer of Recreation & Sport, Carl Zeiss Vision), the club has ordered a brand new fully kitted surf boat valued at approximately $30,000. Construction begins in the last week of August 2008 and we will be picking up the club's latest and greatest competitive edge in early October.
